Flying from Vienna

Vienna International Airport (VIE) is about 20 kilometres from the city centre – about a 25-minute trip by car or taxi. Catch the express City Airport Train to the airport from the city centre, or take a Vienna Airport Lines bus, both of which are specifically purposed to service the airport.

Vienna International Airport

The airport has four terminals, two of which service international flights. It is the largest and busiest airport in Austria, and has a wide selection of shops and restaurants. Arrive in time to get your bearings, so you don’t have to rush.
